Will my signature still be readable at 10KB?
Yes. A signature is mostly white paper with thin dark lines, which compresses very well. At a typical signature size such as 140 × 60 or 300 × 80 pixels, it easily fits under 10KB at high quality. Sign with a black or dark blue pen on plain white paper for the cleanest result.
My photo is 3 MB. Can it really go down to 10KB?
Yes, but the picture has to get smaller in pixels too, because no amount of quality reduction can fit a 12-megapixel photo into 10KB. The tool lowers the quality first and then scales the photo down just enough. Forms that want a 10KB photo usually also expect a small pixel size, like 200 × 230.
The form says the size must be between 4KB and 12KB. What do I enter?
