Delete PDF Pages

Remove unwanted pages from a PDF with page previews.

Your files never leave your device

Delete PDF pages you don't want to share, such as the blank page a scanner added or an old version of a page. Previews show exactly what you are removing, and you can undo before saving. To change the order of what is left, reorder PDF pages, or compress PDF files before uploading.

How to delete PDF pages

  1. Select the PDF.
  2. Tap the bin icon on each page you want to remove. Removed pages fade out; tap again to keep them.
  3. Tap “Delete pages and save” to remove pages from PDF.
  4. Download the new PDF. Your original file is not changed.

Tips for best results

  • Scroll through every preview before saving: scanners often add blank backs of pages in the middle of a document, not only at the end.
  • When removing personal details, check whether they also appear on other pages, such as an address repeated in a footer or on a cover letter.
  • If you also need to fix sideways pages, rotate them in the same grid before saving, so you only download one corrected file.
  • Keep your original PDF until you have checked the new one, in case you removed a page by mistake.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get a deleted page back?

Before saving, yes: tap the page again or use “Undo all changes”. After saving, the new PDF no longer has those pages, but your original file is untouched on your device.

Is the deleted page really gone?

Yes. The new PDF is built only from the pages you keep, so removed pages are not hidden or recoverable in it. That is important when removing personal details before sharing.

How do I remove many pages quickly?

For long ranges, Split PDF's “Extract pages” is faster: type the pages to keep, such as 1-5, 9, and it makes a PDF with only those.

Will deleting pages make the file smaller?

Usually, yes, by roughly the share of the removed pages. To shrink it further, use Compress PDF.

Can I delete every page?

No. A PDF needs at least one page, so the tool asks you to keep at least one.
