Join photo and signature into one image for application forms, scholarship portals and admit-card requests that want both together. Add both, and the tool stacks them neatly on white, cleans up the signature and keeps the file within your KB limit. For separate uploads, use the signature resizer or resize image to 50KB instead.

How to join photo and signature

  1. Add your photo in box 1 and your signature in box 2.
  2. Set the width in pixels and the maximum KB. Add an exact height only if the form gives one.
  3. Keep “Clean up the signature” on to whiten the paper and trim the margins.
  4. Tap “Join photo and signature” and download your photo and signature in one image.

Tips for best results

  • Crop your photo to head and shoulders first, so the face stays large after joining.
  • Use a signature photographed on white paper; the clean-up removes the shadow and trims the margins.
  • If your form gives an exact pixel size, enter both width and height so the result matches it exactly.

Frequently asked questions

Which forms need photo and signature in one image?

Several state government, university and scholarship portals ask for a single “photo with signature” upload, and some admit-card correction forms do too. If your form has separate upload boxes, upload them separately instead.

Can I put the signature beside the photo instead of below?

Right now the signature goes below the photo, the most common layout. If your form needs a side-by-side layout, tell us through the Contact page.

Will the signature be the same width as the photo?

Yes. Both are scaled to the same width so the image looks neat. The signature's empty margins are trimmed first, so it fills the width nicely.

My form gives exact pixels, like 300 × 450. Can I do that?

Yes. Enter 300 as the width and 450 as the exact height. The combined picture is fitted inside that size without stretching, and any spare space is white.

Should I crop my photo first?

It helps. Crop the photo to your face and shoulders with Crop Image or the Exam Photo Resizer, then join it here, so the face is large enough in the final image.
