Resize Image to 100KB

Make any photo under 100KB in one step.

Your files never leave your device

Resize image to 100KB for job portals, college admission forms and profile photos. 100KB is enough for a clear, full-size photo, so most pictures only need a lower JPG quality to get there. For a document upload, convert JPG to PDF next or compress PDF to 100KB.

How to resize image to 100KB

  1. Choose your photos. You can pick several at once.
  2. The maximum is 100 KB. Change it if your limit is different, and add a minimum only if the site requires one.
  3. Each photo is processed straight away. Check the green tick and the new size.
  4. Download each photo under 100 KB, or all together as a ZIP file.

Frequently asked questions

Will a 100KB photo look worse than my original?

On a phone or laptop screen you will rarely see a difference. Phone cameras save photos at very high quality, which makes files 2–5 MB. Most of that data is detail your eye cannot see at normal viewing size, and that is what gets trimmed.

What if the website says “less than 100 KB”?

That is exactly what you get. The result is always below 100,000 bytes, which is under 100 KB however the site counts KB. The size on the result card is rounded up, so 99.6 KB means at most 99.6 KB.

Can I resize screenshots to 100KB?

Yes. Screenshots are often PNG files and can be large. They are saved as JPG here, which makes them much smaller. Text stays readable at 100KB for normal phone and laptop screenshots.

What does the minimum size box do?

Leave it empty unless a site rejects files that are too small. If you set a minimum and a small photo cannot reach it even at top quality, invisible filler is added inside the JPG so it meets the minimum. The picture itself does not change.

Is there a limit on how many photos I can resize?

No fixed limit, and it is free. Photos are processed one at a time to keep your phone responsive, so a large batch just takes a little longer.
