How to sign PDF

Tips for best results
- Sign on plain white paper with a dark gel pen and photograph it in daylight for the cleanest uploaded signature.
- Zoom out to see the whole page and place the signature on the signature line, slightly above it, as you would with a pen.
- For agreements, use “Every page” and a smaller size so the signature fits in the margin of each page.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a legally valid digital signature?
It is a visible electronic signature: an image of your signature on the page, like signing a printout. That is accepted for many everyday documents. Some official filings, such as certain government and tax filings, require a Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) or Aadhaar eSign instead, which this tool does not provide.
Why does my uploaded signature have no white box around it?
The paper is cleaned up and made transparent, and the empty margins are cut away, so only the ink sits on the page, like a real pen signature.
Can I sign every page, like a rent agreement?
Yes. Choose “Every page” and the signature goes in the same spot on each page. Place it where all pages have empty space, usually the bottom right.
Can I add initials and a full signature?
Sign once, download the result, then open that file again and add the second signature or initials in another place.
Is my signature stored?
No. Your signature and the PDF stay in your browser and disappear when you close the page. Nothing is uploaded or saved by us.
