Crop and resize your photo to the exact pixels and KB for SSC, IBPS, UPSC, NEET and more.

Your files never leave your device

Photograph: 200 × 230 px · 20–50 KB · JPG · 200 DPI · background: light, preferably white

IBPS also captures a live photo during registration.

Not yet checked against the official notice. Rules change between years, so confirm in your notification.

Official IBPS website

Only if your notice asks for it (a white strip is added inside the required size).

This exam photo resizer loads your exam's photo rules automatically: pixel size, KB range and DPI. Crop your face to the right shape, and the tool makes a photo that matches, with name and date printed below it if your notice asks for that. Then use the signature resizer and thumb impression resizer for the other uploads.

How to use the exam photo resizer

  1. Choose your exam or form, and the document (photograph, signature or thumb). Read the rules shown below it.
  2. Upload a clear photo. Phone camera photos and iPhone HEIC files both work.
  3. Drag the crop box so your face sits inside the dashed oval. The box already has the right shape.
  4. Tap “Make … px”. Check the final exam photo size in KB and pixels on the result, then download.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my exam form keep rejecting my photo?

The usual reasons are a file outside the KB range, the wrong pixel size, or a format other than JPG. Some websites also count KB as 1,000 bytes, so a file your phone shows as “50 KB” can be rejected. This tool sets the exact pixels, keeps the file inside the range under both ways of counting KB, and always saves a JPG.

Are these exam rules up to date?

We collect them from the latest notices we can find, but conducting bodies change them between years and sometimes between posts. Each exam shows whether we have checked it against the official notice and links to the official website. Always compare with your notification before you submit.

My exam is not in the list. What do I do?

Choose “Custom size” and type the width and height in pixels, plus the minimum and maximum KB from your notice. If the notice gives centimetres instead, multiply by DPI ÷ 2.54. For example, 3.5 cm at 200 DPI is 276 pixels. Our Resize Image tool can do that conversion for you.

Do I need to print my name and date on the photo?

Only if your notice says so. Some recruitment forms require the candidate's name and the date the photo was taken, printed below the face. Tick the option and type your name. The white strip is added inside the required pixel size, so the final dimensions are still correct.

What makes a photo acceptable apart from size?

A recent colour photo with a plain light background, your face looking straight at the camera and filling about 70–80% of the frame, both ears visible, no cap or dark glasses, and even lighting without shadows. Selfies taken too close distort the face, so ask someone to take it from about 1.5 metres away.

Is my photo uploaded to your server?

No. Cropping, resizing and compression all happen inside your browser, on your own phone or computer. Your photo never leaves your device.
