1. Sign on plain white paper
Use a black or dark blue ball-point or gel pen on clean white paper, and sign the way you will sign at the exam centre. Do not sign in capital letters unless that is your normal signature; many notices reject it.
2. Photograph it well
Place the paper flat in daylight, hold the phone straight above it and avoid your shadow. Fill most of the frame with the signature; a scanner works too.
3. Clean, crop and resize
Raw phone photos have grey paper and wide margins, and they are far too large. The signature resizer whitens the paper, darkens the ink, trims the margins and saves the exact pixel size and KB your exam needs.
- Choose your exam, or enter the size from your notice (bank exams often ask for about 140 × 60 pixels and 10–20 KB).
- Upload the photo of your signature.
- Check the KB and pixels on the result and download it.
4. Very small limits and combined images
If the form only says “under 10 KB”, you can also resize image to 10KB directly. Some scholarship portals want the photo and signature in one picture; join photo and signature stacks them and keeps the file within the limit.
Bank and NTA forms may also ask for a left thumb impression, which the thumb impression resizer prepares the same way.
Can I draw my signature on screen?
Drawing with your finger is quick, but many exam notices require a signature made with a pen on paper and may cancel a candidature if it does not match on exam day. Use a drawn signature only where the notice allows it, and keep it as close as possible to your handwritten one.

Frequently asked questions
Why does the portal say my signature is too small or too large?
It is checking the file size in KB, the pixel size, or both. Resize to the exact values in the notice and look at both numbers on the result before uploading.
Should the signature have a white background?
Yes. Most notices want dark ink on white. The signature resizer whitens grey paper automatically.
Can I use the same signature file for every exam?
Only if the size rules match. Exams use different pixel sizes and KB ranges, so keep the original photo and resize it again for each form.
