1. Take clear photos of each page
Lay each page flat on a dark surface in good light, hold the phone straight above it and fill the frame with the page. Tap the screen to focus before you shoot. One sharp photo per page is better than several blurred ones.
2. Make the PDF
Open JPG to PDF and choose all your page photos at once.
- Select the photos from your gallery.
- Drag them into the right order (press and hold on a phone).
- Choose A4 for documents, or “same as image” for photos.
- Tap “Create PDF” and download it.
3. iPhone photos
iPhones may save pictures as HEIC. The JPG to PDF tool accepts them, but if another site refuses them, convert HEIC to JPG first.
4. Fit it under the upload limit
A PDF made from phone photos can be several MB. To meet a limit like 200 KB, compress PDF to 200KB. For admission or job forms, the compress documents for online form tool does both steps at once and also whitens the paper so it looks scanned.
Already have some pages as PDFs? Add them with merge PDF so everything is in one file.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an app to make a PDF from photos?
No. Everything runs in your phone's browser, in Chrome, Safari or Firefox, and the photos are never uploaded.
How many photos can I put in one PDF?
As many as your phone can handle; dozens of pages are fine. Large sets take a little longer on older phones.
Why is my PDF so large?
Phone photos are high resolution. Compress the PDF to your portal's limit, or make it with the document compressor, which sizes the pages for you.
