Rotate Image or Flip a Photo

Rotate photos 90° or flip them horizontally or vertically.

Your files never leave your device

Rotate image files that come out sideways or upside down, or mirror a selfie. Choose the rotation once and apply it to as many images as you like; the original quality and format are kept. Then crop image edges, or turn the pages into a PDF with JPG to PDF.

How to rotate image

  1. Choose one or more images.
  2. Tap Left or Right to rotate in 90° steps. Use Flip to mirror the image, or Upside down to flip it vertically. The preview shows the result.
  3. Tap “Rotate” to apply the change to every selected image.
  4. Download each image or all of them as a ZIP.

Tips for best results

  • Rotate phone photos before uploading them to forms: some websites ignore the camera's rotation note and show them sideways.
  • For a batch of scans that came out the same wrong way, select all of them and rotate once.
  • Use “Flip” for mirror-image selfies and scans taken through a phone's front camera.

Frequently asked questions

Why does my photo look correct on my phone but sideways on the website?

Phones often save photos in one direction and add a hidden note (EXIF orientation) saying how to turn them. Some websites ignore that note. Opening the photo here applies the note and saves the pixels the right way up, so it shows correctly everywhere, even before you rotate it further.

Does rotating reduce image quality?

Rotating in 90° steps moves pixels without blending them, so nothing is lost there. JPG and WebP files are re-saved at 92% quality, which looks identical. PNG files stay lossless.

How do I un-mirror a selfie?

Tap Flip (left–right). Front cameras often save a mirror image, so text on clothes or signs reads backwards. Flipping fixes that.

Can I rotate a whole set of scanned pages?

Yes. Select all the pages, set the rotation once, and every page is turned the same way. Download them together as a ZIP.

What formats are supported?

JPG, PNG, WebP and iPhone HEIC. Each file keeps its own format, except HEIC, which is saved as JPG so it opens on any device.
